What We Do:

• We advocate for greater participation in the arts, culture and heritage of our region.  Artists, performing arts, museums, galleries and writers contribute greatly to our quality of life, local economy, and understanding of our world.
• We promote the work of local artists, nonprofits, and creative businesses.  Our programs provide opportunities for you to meet artists, purchase their work, and support the region’s creative economy.
• We educate through workshops, talks, creative economy meetings and more. We encourage your participation in these events. The arts festivals we present offer fantastic opportunities for you and your family to learn to dance, juggle, create with clay, paint, paper and pencil and imagination.
• We celebrate!  Our region is a great place to work, live, and play. You will find fascinating stories and histories, vibrant downtowns and small rural communities, many and varied artistic expression.  Our events celebrate our heritage and our contemporary arts and cultural community.
• Join us! Your membership supports Five Rivers Arts Alliance’s free community events and services including the Arts Around Us Calendar, and forthcoming updates of our region’s Cultural Map & Guide and online database.
