Second Friday Art Walk in Brunswick & Topsham: June 9, July 14, Aug. 11, Sept. 8, Oct. 13, Nov. 10, Dec. TBA. The Second Friday Art Walk in Brunswick and Topsham is on for second Fridays, May – December 2006, from 5 – 8 p.m. Visit more than twenty sites that are part of the walk, including galleries, businesses with exhibitions and a growing number of artist studios, including several in Fort Andross overlooking the Androscoggin River. The Art Walk is an opportunity to view, celebrate and participate in the arts on a regular basis. Enjoy the work of local artist at a number of sites within a short walking distance. Many galleries hold openings in conjunction with the Art Walk. Après art listings are added this summer for later in the evening. Look for yellow and black brochures for a listing of open sites. Third Friday Art Walk in Bath: June 16, July 21, Aug. 18, Sept. 15, Oct. 20, November and December TBA. Bath offers its first Third Friday Art Walk on Friday, June 16 from 5 - 7:30p.m. The Third Friday Art Walk will continue throught the summer and into the fall. Visit twenty-five sites, from individual artist studios to galleries to creative businesses. Area restaurants and B&Bs also host public art exhibits. Look for blue brochures in advance of the Art Walk for complete listings! |
